Artist statement
My name is Brandon and For my upcoming careers, I would like to work as a 3D modeler, and environment designer but for my enjoyment being a Video Editor, animator and a graphic designer. I always wanted in my life to use my creativity and make it come to life. As a child I really loved video games, especially the ones in 3D. Two specific games I loved a lot are Mario 64 and Mario 3D land, I really loved every detail in the games. It really immerses you in a Mario world since you are spectating in the perspective of Mario and the cool colorful platforms, models and characters in the game. Everything time playing any 3D game especially as a child I always wished to be in it since I lived in a populated city like New York City and a little home sick from my homeland, and since gaming was a way to bring this feeling of escapism from the real world , I feel gaming helps me cope with that feeling of being in those virtual worlds with beautiful landscapes and amazing structures. This makes me try to create cool models and amazing settings. I have several of the works I made in college as assignments in blender and really enjoyed making these things and using my creative mind to add my realism style to it. I believe everyone has a different unique style and not using it will make your creation very dull and boring.
